Exceptions: there is a map44.pcx but no scenario 44; 3 larger scenarios, 42, 43 & 45, use InfoMapPan.pcx; there are no scenarios for 37 & 38 but these use InfoMapPan.pcx.

& "Mini" portraits of generals.
The InfoLeft & InfoRight graphics are the small triangles to the left & right of the small map graphic which when mouse-clicked cycles through the 6 or more pictures.

These have three images for normal, mouse-over & clicked. An image of these need not appear on the main graphic as it is always overlayed by InfoLeft & InfoRight.
The 3 button graphics are contained in the pick graphics e.g. pickcancel2.pcx:

These have 2 versions for normal & mouse-over. Images of these need not appear on the main graphic as they are always overlayed.
InfoArrows.pcx has Red & Blue arrows and Red, Blue & Black crosses:

These & the "Mini" portraits of generals are placed on maps by instructions in the scenario .sci text files. The same method went on to be used in Waterloo: Napoleon's Last Battle & Austerlitz: Napoleon's Greatest Victory. See the Scenario Design thread for info about the .sci files.
Rather than pictures of the battlefield the 6 or more panels could be used to display a selection of uniforms or a series of maps to animate battlefield movements.
Palette Colours
To avoid corruption the palette should be consistent for all the graphics used.
The 1st position on each graphic's palette is its background colour - this can be different on different graphics.
The 20th colour is used for the text of the heading "Battle Summary".
The 167th colour is used for the slider.
The 150th colour is used for the top & left of slider buttons.
The 206th colour is used for the bottom & right of slider buttons.
For USA the 24th colour is used for the text and the 110th colour is used for links.
For CSA the 208th colour is used for the text and the 2nd colour is used for links.
